On arrival in Auckland, make your way to the meeting point for your shuttle transfer to your accommodation. The remainder of the day is free to explore the city at your leisure.
Join a half day tour to explore New Zealand’s largest and busiest city, set on 48 dormant volcanic cones and lies between two harbors: the sparkling Waitemata and the brooding Manukau. The tour begins with a drive up Queen Street, past Auckland University and through Auckland Domain to Ponsonby. Head over the harbour bridge to the North Shore and enjoy a stroll on Narrow Neck Beach in historic Devonport. Re-board the coach for a trip up to the summit of Mt Victoria for stunning panoramic views over Auckland City, then travel back over the harbour bridge to Westhaven Marina. Finish with a visit to Auckland Fish Market before continuing on to the Viaduct Harbour.
Auckland – Rotorua
Join your coach to commence a full day return tour to Waitomo and Rotorua. Depart Auckland and travel through lush Waikato farmland. On arrival in the small town of Waitomo, partake in a guided tour through the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves with amazing stalactites, stalagmites and other limestone formations. Finish with a silent boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto – a subterranean cavern lit up by the lights of thousands of tiny glowworms. Lunch is provided during the journey from Waitomo to Rotorua. On the outskirts of Rotorua sits the Agrodome, where you will take a tour of an organic working farm, watch sheep being shorn and view a live sheep dog trial. Next stop is Te Puia, where you will enjoy a Maori cultural performance with song, dance, poi and stick games, followed by a guided tour of the bubbling mudpools and active geysers of Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley and a visit to Te Puia’s woodcarving and weaving schools.

Rotorua – Queenstown
Transfer to Rotorua Airport by shuttle for your flight to Queenstown. On arrival in Queenstown, make your way to the meeting point for your transfer to your accommodation. The remainder of your day is at leisure.
This morning, board your twin engine aircraft to commence a half day tour to Milford Sound. During the 35 minute flight, enjoy panoramic views of spectacular alpine scenery including glaciers, rivers, lakes and rainforest. Land at Milford Sound Airport and transfer to the Visitor Terminal for a leisurely nature cruise the full length of the fiord to the Tasman Sea. View spectacular alpine scenery including waterfalls, rainforest and towering peaks and keep a look out for wildlife including seals, dolphins and penguins. Afterwards be transferred back to Milford Airport for a scenic return flight to Queenstown.
Relax in the unique ambiance in front of a roaring open fire and soak in the views from this stunning lakeside setting while the chefs prepare a gourmet BBQ on the outdoor grill. Enjoy a selection of succulent New Zealand meat and seafood accompanied by delectable seasonal salads, tasty dessert treats and local cheeses. All meat and seafood is cooked on the outdoor BBQ and rotisserie in front of guests and served immediately. A locally influenced wine list and other beverages are available to purchase at the bar. This morning, spend a few hours getting to know Sydney’s secrets and icons. See the historic Rocks district, climb Observatory Hill for views of Anzac Bridge and Darling Harbour, cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge on your way to North Head for unrivaled views and a secluded walk along the rugged sandstone cliffs; it will take your breath away. See Sydney’s popular neighborhoods and historic sights on the drive between stops. After lunch at the magnificent Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, see more great sights including a stop at Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach before returning to your hotel. This afternoon, join a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House followed by a meal at the Opera Bar.
The Blue Mountains is a real journey into the heart of a unique World Heritage Region. The first stop this morning is at Featherdale Wildlife Park where you can get up close and personal, stroke a koala and hand feed kangaroos, wallabies and emus. Departing from Featherdale, commence the drive to the Blue Mountains via the highway. Visit one of a range of stunning outlooks of the Jamison Valley with beautiful vistas, where possible away from the crowds. Continue on to Eaglehawk Lookout for views of the famous Three Sisters and to learn of the legends behind this famous rock formation. Head to your lunch venue at the Hydro Majestic Hotel, a relaxed venue with stunning views and enjoy a two-course lunch (beverages can be purchased at own expense). The afternoon is spent visiting a selection of scenic lookouts. The view from Govett’s Leap is one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. Here the magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff. The last stop is the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens for a stop to enjoy the sweeping views and a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice before travelling back to your hotel.
